Mapletree Business City Shanghai & VivoCity Shanghai are situated in the Minhang Xinzhuang Business District. Developed jointly by the Mapletree Group and Mapletree India China Fund, this project spans an area of 119,000 square meters with a total construction area of 297,000 square meters. It comprises 200,000 square meters of Mapletree Business City and 120,000 square meters of VivoCity. Mapletree Business City Shanghai has achieved LEED Gold certification and incorporates sustainable green technology. Recognizing Jaga's track record in supplying products to numerous green and energy-efficient buildings globally, the project sought out Jaga's support upon learning of its presence in China. Jaga's Mini Canal was chosen for its ultra-small size and superior energy efficiency, making it suitable for tall buildings. Notably, Mapletree Business City Shanghai and VivoCity Shanghai received recognition as the ultimate world's Best International Mixed-use Architecture at the 2016 International Property Awards held in London. This accolade underscores the excellence and innovation demonstrated by these developments in the realm of mixed-use architecture on a global scale.
